Then divide the fathers and mothers adjusted income by the total combined adjusted income of both parents and determine the appropriate percentage to each adjusted income by referring to the Maryland child support table. The whole purpose of this calculation is to divide the child support obligation between both parents in proportion to their adjusted actual incomes.
