Temporary Child Custody Agreement Form | Emergency Temporary Child Custody

A temporary child custody agreement form allows you to file temporary child custody orders especially in the beginning stages of the divorce proceedings.
This is an agreement between divorcing parents that reflects the overall best interest of their children among each other. Most states award visitation rights to the other parent in case of a temporary child custody. In this case you might want to file for hared custody wherein you will be the primary residential parent and your spouse will be the secondary residential parent with visitation rights and rotating holidays. In addition joint custody of the child may be awarded with alternating amount of time spent by each parent. In these circumstances you can file a petition for an emergency temporary child custody order and the court will decide on the matter then; states have different criteria for granting an emergency temporary child custody order but in the serious circumstances outlined above it is most likely that a court will grant such an order.

The court will need to hold a full hearing before granting an emergency custody order and an emergency temporary child custody order can be granted pending a full hearing of the substantive allegations of abuse or maltreatment.
